Sushi Basho in Littleton

They are not paying attention to their online app. Busy is one thing but they told us 30 min AFTER I already waited 30. And then when my husband went back 30 min later they said it would be about 30 min more. We are the most understanding customers BUT Grub hub orders are being picked up in the mean time..... so there is no reason for this. If they can get their orders. Looks like you’re doing fine business wise during this time but I will never order from you and I will not sit in your place when things are open again.

Absolutely poor togo service. Would recommend going with someone else if you are at all in a hurry.

This is a great place for sushi! Have been eating here for a long time and have never been disappointed. The service is always great and the food is always delicious!!

Super delicious, fair prices, good service

My boyfriend and I heard from a good friend how great the food was, so of course we wanted to try as we live close. When we arrived there were a handful of tables, so not too busy. We ordered and after almost an hour no one asked about our drinks or to say they were sorry about the wait. We had prior plans, so could not wait. When I asked the server for a time, she didn't have one. We paid for our drinks and left. If someone would have apologized and offered to pay for our two drinks, we would have been back to try it out.

Very good sushi. Attentive service. Table arrangement feels a little close and crowded but overall a good experience.

Full disclosure: I never remember the names of rolls. Nevertheless, the rolls we chose tonite were all very, very good. Only 2 mochi in an order, which is a little to share among 3, but we made it work. Very fresh fish.

Loved it here, cute place and friendly staff! My daughter was obsessed with the fish tank the whole time 😂. The food is great, almost any sushi you order it will be fresh tasting and delicious. The food came pretty fast, and the waiter was nothing but kind to me and my family. Thankyou Sushi Basho!

This place is awesome. The staff if friendly and approachable. The food is why we keep coming back. Reasonable prices and delicious fresh tastes. There have been other sushi places pop up in the area but this is the place for sushi.

Great price for dine in nijiri sushi! Quality fish and they usually have buy one get one free sake. If you are looking for a good date that's affordable then this is the right place.

The food is good, sushi is great. The kitchen is a little slow so expect to wait awhile for your food. But the service is completely trash, they are oblivious and air-headed. If you get frustrated easily DO NOT COME HERE.

We loved all our dishes as there were several of us seated. We had cocktails that were catered to our needs. The sushi was excellent and Billy was amazing with fast friendly service!!!! Cant say enough good things about our only visit to Colorado and this restaurant!

Great sushi in the heart of Littleton...don't let the diminutive location fool you, this is serious sushi and a cozy atmosphere to boot!

This is our favorite sushi spot. The fish is fresh, the rolls are tasty and the prices are reasonable. We come here once a week to eat w Jimmy and the gang. I highly recommend it.

Between dine-in and takeout, I'm eating Sushi Basho almost once a week. They're only the second place I've found in Colorado that offers fresh wasabi-- if you haven't tried it yet, be sure to ask!

Very delicious sushi. It’s always a bit quiet in there, and as other reviewers have noted, it’s always pretty chilly, but if you remember to dress warmly - or order a large hot sake special (BOGO) - that will also do the trick. The quality of the food is fantastic and very fresh. The menu is extensive, and it’s great to have another good (ethnic) restaurant option in the neighborhood!

Chef's choice for 2, combination of sushi and sashimi. So tender and fresh.

This place is a perfect stop for a quick bite and house sake. I do 4 salmon rolls with a small sake and its 25$. Not beating price that for the taste.

I went here with one of my friends and when our sushi came out it was room temperature. The taste was okay, but it wasn't busy for a reason.

Came here with a friend who likes this place a lot. I thought everything we ordered was delicious! We ate it all. Service was a little wonky but not terrible. I'll definitely eat here again:)

First off, waited an hour for a to go order of 2 rolls and an order of Beef and Chicken Teriyaki. The rolls were ok, I get it's not the same as eating in the restaurant so I'm taking that into consideration.Do NOT get the teriyaki here! The meat tasted boiled, the veggies consisted of mostly overcooked zucchini which was odd. Those weren't even the worst part, the actual teriyaki sauce was brown salty water that fell off of the meat and veggies leaving the dish bland. Glad we had the salad and rice to fill up on because the main dish was not edible.

Sake tasted watered down, service was ok and only the second or third time ever that we didn’t take the left overs. We have sushi 8-12 times a month, not impressed we will not be going back.

Great sushi. Has the big asahi beers that I love. Can get pretty busy and crowded but worth it. Especially if you are in down town Littleton.

I made a reservation but when we got there we waited for 15 minutes and were never even acknowledged. It was busy but employees just kept walking by us and acting like we weren't even there. It smelled really fishy also. We just left after such poor service. Would not recommend

Sushi Basho - I am picky about my sushi - usually sticking to homemade by people I know and trust. I went to this location in celebration of a friend's birthday. Everyone was satisfied. The portions were large. The happy hour was good. The restaurant is small and the selection was broad. The sake/Nihonshu was flowing but I had iced tea. I tried sea urchin. It was very interesting. It literally melted in my mouth in a cold, sort of mucus, cauliflower-tasting way. For raw fish served on rice - Sushi Basho was nothing spectacular. I was bold and experimented with mixed results. Try the sea urchin. You'll be glad you did.

Great sushi , great cones ,their salmon and yellow tail is always extra fresh with a wonderful taste . The price is very good and the service is good as well . It's a must go in Littleton !!!!!!

Small menu for an equally small restaurant. If you're looking for rolls this is a good place. The beef and poultry was "meh" at best. Service was good, but there were only a few customers in the restaurant so that was expected. I probably wont return.

This place rocks. The sushi is fresh, tasty and fresh. Fresh is the key word. Very clean eating. 1st. Time here and will definitely return. Thank you. Not overpriced like Hapa sushi or Sushi Den in Denver and definitely a better eat.

LOVE...THEIR...SALMON SASHIMI

I ordered 5 rolls and 2 appetisers trough Grubhub at 6:29. My order was delivered 8:03, the soy beans were cold and the sushi was warm. They also forgot one of my rolls. Maybe it’s good when you go to the actual restaurant but I will never order from them again.

Great sushi but it can be a bit slow when it's busy.

I love this place. It doesn't look like much from outside but is real quality. The tuna poke is a great starter and the rest of the menu is well prepared and fresh.

I was not impressed. I have been three times. It is not very good. Service is just so so and there is this attitude that makes me feel unconditionally. The Sushi is not cold. I'm talking the fresh uncooked kind that should come out crispy cold. Yuk.... and each time at least one type Sashimi was old yuk. It is way too expensive for this quality. I felt taken advantage of all three times. Would not recommend this sushi restaurant.

wonderful food!! So fresh - Yuzu Hama and Snow Mountain rolls were excellent. Attentive wait staff.Parking can be challenge, small lot, but street parking is available.
